I remember being a little guy registered and raring to go on the SPECIAL HUNT,
Back in those days MOMs and DAds were CHEERING on thier own little "LITTLE RUNT",
Meaford was a FAMILY oriented TOWN with many picnics and CIDER FESTS,
Corn Roasts and Father SON ATHLETIC Dinners and meetings and dances in the TOWN HALL,
Opening night for rainbow was another excuse to party and run and dance on the Break WALL,
On the other hand MEAFORD had more than it's share of Heart-Aches and WOES,
It seems "YOUNG PEOPLE's" was there at the right time for JESUS to fight my many "FOES",
Thank GOD for EASTER and what it means to ME and my FAMILY,
